Unsolved Mystery I-Haunted College (a short novel): Chapter 1

Ødeguard woke up as hands gripped his shoulder and yanked him awake. He wanted to yell at whoever that was right in his face but managed to stop upon realising it was his brother Benjamin. Benjamin said “Ever heard of the Texas Medical College?” “Of course I have, who do you think I am, an idiot?” Ødeguard snapped. Texas Medical College has been Ødeguard’s nightmare ever since the night their father Charlton died after entering the college. Legends also told that anyone who dared to cross the footsteps has never made it out. Survivors mentioned a voice that attracts you but something would kill you once you turn around to look. Ødeguard snapped back into focus when Benjamin suddenly asked “So are you coming?” Ødeguard personally WANTED to say no but he still answered yes, since he knew perfectly that his brother would just use all possible ways to manipulate him into saying yes anyway. Benjamin said to him “So what are you wait’n for, let’s get go’n!”
